    Shelby GT500

If any of you are car buffs, you will recognize and start drooling over this car instantly!

We weren't able to take the car very far off the road (and I understand why) and we were losing light fast.

But here she is in all her glory ...

    Strength vs. calm.

I shot these images this past fall, but just dug them up out of my files to reprint a few of them for the client. I have to admit, I am not the most confident around horses so this session was interesting. :) I do LOOOVE horses - I think they are absolutely gorgeous and majestic, but I'm just not sure I have enough experience with horses to go riding by myself or to be left alone with them.Proof_11w

These horses were great, though ... and my model was so connected to her equestrian friends that it made my job easy. I would love to do more sessions like this next spring-summer-fall.

Start your week with a smile!

Okay, okay, so it's Monday. Back to work, back to schedules, back to life. This litte guy has the right attitude, though - start your day and your week with a smile! Little Mikey visited me on Friday and it was such a treat to photograph him and his proud mommy and daddy! And after a 2.5 hour car ride to the studio, this little guy was STILL in great spirits and ready to ham it up for the camera. :)

I also had the *awesome* privilege of photographing a good friend and her family the other day. She is patiently waiting for her proofs since this is still the Christmas season and is still quite busy for me! But in the meantime, here's a sneak peak into your session, L! I hope you guys had fun during your session! I love your boys and love being their 'personal photographer!' :)

    How do you spell busy?

Since September, things have just been hopping with Gigi Photography. Everybody is looking to have their family pictures taken for Christmas!  I've met so many wonderful clients and so many beautiful children ... this is such a dream job for me! I love meeting new people and having the honour of capturing a moment in time for their family - whether it's a newborn baby or a four year old. We always have fun during our sessions, no matter what!

It *has* been very busy lately though and I am looking forward to some quiet times in December, as all of the Christmas bookings will be wrapped up (no pun intended) by then.

Here are a few to share from some recent sessions, of which has been mostly families this fall - nothing like where it all began ... with a kiss ...

    Most Wonderful Time.

Sing it with me ..."It's the most wonderful time of the year ...." :D

We're 41 days till Christmas. Do you know what you're getting your parents for a present? These guys do! They purchased a nice portrait of the grandkids for their grandpa - what a brilliant idea! LOL! Adrianne, the baby girl pictured below, came to see me when she was still in mommy's tummy :) and then as a newborn. She's grown so much and is just as adorable as she was on the day I met her!

    Something about dads and babies.

It's been said that little girls grow up and often marry someone that is like their own father.

Why is that, we ask? Because girls ADORE their daddies. There's something that will continue to tug our the strings of our heart, creating that need to be daddy's little girl. There's something about a dad - so strong and protective - caring for his little baby girl.

This second-time-dad was so great with his kids. You could tell he knew what he was doing -he's a modern day daddy for sure! ;) Here he is with his second of two girls.

    and with his oldest daughter.

This precious little bundle visited the studio this week - she was so fabulous - not a peep or a cry out of her! She was very content and you could see she knew she was in good hands. :)
Guys, it was great seeing you in the studio again! What a treat to watch your family grow!
